Lets Rock in October!
Member's Only Party
In addition all of us at RPM Health Club would very much like to welcome all members to attend our next Member's Only Party on Friday October 30 from 06.30 - 08.30pm.
The theme of this gathering will be the "Angels Celebration of Rocktober in Black and White". It will feature Japenese style hor'derves with gormet wines and music provided by "Moodie" a live soft rock band.
All members are cordially invited to this gala event.
Our featured equipment
Our featured equipment of the month is the "Hammer Strength Ground Jammer" pictured here.
The Ground Base Jammer is excellent for push off the ground sport-specific strengthening. Using the feet on the ground position it allows the users body to respond naturally to the exercise thereby enhancing coordination and spurring strengthening of all major muscle groups.
Ask one of our PT's for assistance on how to "Get Jammin" on this great machine!
Our class of the month is Swiss Ball Training
The Swiss Ball was first used by physical therapists and chiropracters in Switzerland to assist with rehabilitation. Now they are used in facilities all over the world to improve balance, flexability and overall strengthening. The Swiss Ball allows for almost a limitless amount of exercises. Moves introduced in this class includes Swill Ball crunches, variations of push-ups, and using the ball like a bench with free weights to strengthen those hard to reach stabilizer muscles.
This class led by Khun Kwan on Wednesday from 06.30 - 07.00pm and Thursday from 06.00 - 06.30pm is great for all members.
Excercise for October.
The "Bench Dip" shown here by Khun Ken is our excercise for October.
It can be done with or without additional weight. Correct form is important to remember during any excercise.
Always keep the back and neck straight as you lift your body up and down. This type of dip focusses on the rear deltoids and triceps muscles, really good for gaining muscle definition.
Our featured member
Our featured couple member of the month is Khun SURACHART and Khun RACHANEE KHORANA. Khun John and Khun Ann are regular visitors to our club. They enjoy Khun A's Smart Strength and Khun Ken's Relax and Release classes often.
After their workout the happy couple enjoy a Health Drink from Twist Juice Bar to add a good finish to their healthy routine.
